We feel the connections and people we engage with are all working to further the mission of a better, cleaner world from a variety of perspectives. Everyone wants to have a cleaner planet, but the GEC is the rare event where we can get together with so many individuals and businesses who are actually making this change happen at significant scale.” shared Pete Marte, CEO, Hannah Solar and a GEC exhibitor.
The Annual Georgia Environmental Conference is the largest, most comprehensive and diverse environmental educational opportunity and will be attended by over 700 Local, State and Federal Government Officials, Business and Industry Leaders, Attorneys, Consultants, Engineers, Developers, Land Owners, Architects, Agribusiness Leaders, Energy Experts, Water Planning District Personnel, University and College Professionals, Public Health Officials, Solid Waste Management, Enviro-Tech Employees, Recycling Experts and many, many other diverse individuals with a strong interest in environmental activities in Georgia, across the Southeast region and around the world.
Howard Lalli, president of HL Strategy remarked, “There is simply no other opportunity that comes close to offering the combination of content and relationships as GEC. It would require months of time and effort to accomplish what you can in a few days at this conference.” Lalli, who also serves as executive director of the Georgia Brownfield Association (GBA), a returning GEC sponsor added, “GBA is excited to sponsor the Student Scholarship to encourage future employers to interact with these future environmental leader finalists at the conference.”
Over the three-day event, GEC will host an elite group of environmental professionals seeking to exchange knowledge and share ideas surrounding environmental concerns, including 86 environmental exhibits. The curricula, designed and developed by GEC’s 50-member Steering Committee, offers more than 58 unique courses featuring approximately 175 speakers.
Each attendee designs their own personalized curriculum by selecting nine educational breakout sessions, while receiving approved Continuing Education credits (where applicable).
