ORANGE PARK RESIDENT BECOMES AMERICAN BRIDGE TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION MASTER TEACHER
Sharon Carter of Orange Park recently earned her Master Teacher designation from the American Bridge Teachers’ Association, the only professional organization for bridge teachers. The test encompassed knowledge of bridge, communication skills and teaching approach and expertise.
According to their website “The ABTA Master Teacher Accreditation is the highest recognition we have in the North American bridge teaching community. ABTA Master Teachers are our very best professionals, and we are confident in recommending our Master Teachers for bridge teaching jobs at any level and in any setting.
When asked about her achievement, Sharon responded that “knowing that there are less than 80 Master Teachers in the country made me think I may not pass the first time I was tested, so needless to say, I was thrilled when I did pass”.
Sharon and her husband, Kent, offer duplicate bridge games three time per week in the Orange Park area. Ms Carter teaches locally and on cruise ships. She focuses on beginners and advancing players. Sharon can be reached at email@example.com or her website bridgeteacher4u.com.
